Hello Everyone :) Wow what a finish to 2016 :)
Mildura Country Music Festival was a completely wonderful blast from start to finish - lots of new venues, people and amazing musical shows. Just loved every moment. I had a highlight of singing live on radio Suvla Bay with a banjo and saw. What a thrill indeed. Great to see the success of such a festival.
Munna Creek Festival, near Gympie, once again was the most fun time with Lex K and Waddo's team of musos.
I was a bit crook when I was part of the opening of the Mental Health Expo in Mackay QLd singing That'll Be Me with combined 3 local choirs. They were awesome and that was one of the most satisfying times on stage and to see their faces at such achievement - priceless. I immediately took myself to the Dr after that performance to be diagnosed with Pneumonia. Got over that quickly :)
Rosewood Festival, near Tumbarumba NSW - what a change in temperature with snow visible on Mt Kosciusko nearby and sleet weather , but that didn't stop the country music lovers from enjoying a good time old time dancing on the tennis courts and then sitting outside enjoying the show :) I am in awe.
I was honoured to win FEMALE VOCAL - at the GIDGEE COAL BUSH BALLAD AWARDS Pittsworth QLd, and also be Finalist for Album of the Year with A Year of Firsts.
Next in December we traveled to Perth for the Senior Citizens Christmas Show, spending holiday time with my darling Ian and then at Terry Bennetts. Then off to Melbourne, via Adelaide to see a couple of our girls while I went off and did the Warrnambool CM Club Christmas Show at lunch time , then drove flat out to Beaufort CM Club for their Christmas party. Home to Mackay the next day and I must say then the sleep catchup was on during the Christmas break.
Now - Here we are - HAPPY NEW YEAR to you all :) and I'm getting madly ready for Tamworth. I'm excited for this trip it's been 13 years since I was last there - (omgoodness that is a long time eh) and the KROS KUT RECORDS SHOWCASE Is going to be spectacular :)

I have a new album on the make through KROSS KUT RECORDS called A Thousand Different Pictures and is due out in May. I'm so very excited, musically, creatively this is a wonderful acoustic natural sounding country music album. I can't wait to share if with you.
